About | Omaheke Region Council

The Omaheke Regional Council is the governing body responsible for the administration and development of the Omaheke Region in eastern Namibia. This region is known for its vast semi-arid landscapes, including parts of the Kalahari Desert, and is primarily focused on agriculture, especially livestock farming and wildlife conservation. The Council oversees the delivery of public services such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, and social development.
