The Kunene Regional Council is the governing body responsible for the administration and development of the Kunene Region in northwestern Namibia. This region is known for its diverse landscapes, including deserts, mountains, and parts of the Namib Desert, as well as being home to indigenous communities such as the Himba people. The Council is responsible for managing public services like healthcare, education, and infrastructure, while also focusing on sustainable resource use and tourism, especially in areas like Etosha National Park and Skeleton Coast.
